ABOUT HEBUT-UA joint college:

Arizona College of Technology at Hebei University of Technology was co-founded by HEBUT and the University of Arizona (UA) in 2020 with the approval of China’s Ministry of Education. Based on the strengths of both universities, the joint college offers three undergraduate programs including Applied Physics, Materials Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES:

l In charge of administrative affairs of the college in all respects

l Formulating the college’s development plans, annual plans and regulations

l Recruiting and management of faculty

l Renewing the college’s education models, promote reforms in pedagogy, and improve the overall quality of education

l Strengthening the collaboration with The University of Arizona, promote international communication and cooperation

l Enhancing the integration of production, education and research, advance cooperation with relevant industries revolving around national or local strategies of importance or major needs of economic or social development, and serve the socioeconomic construction at the national and local level

工作職責(zé)：

l主持學(xué)院行政全面工作

l主持編制學(xué)院發(fā)展規(guī)劃、年度計(jì)劃和各項(xiàng)行政性規(guī)章制度，并組織實(shí)施

l加強(qiáng)學(xué)院師資隊(duì)伍建設(shè)，引進(jìn)培養(yǎng)打造高水平師資團(tuán)隊(duì)

l創(chuàng)新人才培養(yǎng)模式，推進(jìn)學(xué)院教學(xué)改革，提升學(xué)院教育教學(xué)質(zhì)量和整體辦學(xué)水平

l加強(qiáng)與亞利桑那大學(xué)合作，擴(kuò)大國(guó)際交流，提升學(xué)院國(guó)際化建設(shè)水平

l加強(qiáng)產(chǎn)學(xué)研結(jié)合，瞄準(zhǔn)國(guó)家和地方重大戰(zhàn)略、經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展重大需求，推動(dòng)與相關(guān)產(chǎn)業(yè)的合作，為國(guó)家和地方經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)建設(shè)服務(wù)。

REQUIREMENTS:

l A proven track record of strong organizing and leadership capabilities, be good at management, coordination,communication and implementation, and have the big picture in mind, the spirit to advance reform and innovation. A successful track record of leadership and management in higher education institutions. Those with managerial experience at Sino-foreign joint educational institutions, projects or faculties will be given priority.

l Domestic applicants must have a doctoral degree and a professor-level technical title, whereas their foreign counterparts must hold an associate professor position or over at a well known university. Experience with relevant programs is preferable.

l Have strategic visions and innovative thinking for development of the college, hence the ability to lead the college on to a sustainable path of development.

l In principle, applicants must not be older than 50, but this restriction may be lifted for those who are exceptionally excellent.

l國(guó)內(nèi)應(yīng)聘者應(yīng)具有博士學(xué)位及高級(jí)專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)職務(wù)，國(guó)外應(yīng)聘者應(yīng)具有知名大學(xué)副教授及以上職位。學(xué)院開(kāi)設(shè)相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)或具有相關(guān)學(xué)科專(zhuān)業(yè)背景和研究經(jīng)歷優(yōu)先。

l對(duì)學(xué)院建設(shè)具有戰(zhàn)略性構(gòu)想和創(chuàng)新性思維，具備帶領(lǐng)學(xué)院持續(xù)發(fā)展的能力。

l年齡原則上不超過(guò)50周歲，特別優(yōu)秀者年齡可考慮放寬。
